National Library Week (usually the last week of April) is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries, library workers' contributions and promote library use and support. A new theme for National Library Week is selected each year by the American Library Association (ALA) which releases its annual State of America's Libraries Report, including the list of Top Ten Most Challenged Books of the previous year, to kick off the week.
