In addition to materials in display cases, the exhibit had a series of wall hangings related to the displays.
Two wall hangings highlight the University of Mississippi's Original Library project, represented in two display cases. The image above uses the cover of the University's original library "catalogue": a handwritten ledger that inventoried the library's holdings. This image below uses a portion of a photograph taken in the University's original library circa 1839, located in Ventress Hall.

This wall hanging uses an image from Luca Pacioli's Summa d'arithmetica (1494), which explained double-entry bookkeeping.

This wall hanging uses the cover image from William T. Brannon's novel The Lady Killers.

This wall hanging uses an image taken from a marbled endpaper found in a book printed prior to the 20th century. This motif is called a "French curl".
