Ole Miss Women’s Council Scholar Trips

Founded on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2000, at the University of Mississippi by Chancellor Emeritus Robert Khayat, Vice Chancellor Emerita Gloria Kellum and Ellen Rolfes, the Ole Miss Women’s Council for Philanthropy supports and sponsors travel awards for OMWC student scholars, with the inaugural cohort of scholars traveling to New York’s Central Park for the annual “Mississippi Picnic.”

In 2017, the OMWC founded the Global Leadership Circle (GLC), to provide transformative, international travel opportunities to its student leaders.
