Description

William Wert Cooper, Jr. was a Senior majoring in Commerce at the University of Mississippi when James Meredith enrolled at the University of Mississippi. Cooper took these black and white and color photographs on campus and in the town of Oxford during the events surrounding Meredith's enrollment.
