State of Mississippi Government Documents

The University of Mississippi Libraries maintain an extensive collection of Mississippi state government publications, dating from 1817, when Mississippi achieved statehood, and has been a part of the State Documents Depository Program since its beginning in 1966.

The Mississippi Library Commission administers the State Documents Depository Program and maintains a list of online state documents as well as printed lists of new documents. The most complete archival collection of Mississippi state documents is located at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History in Jackson. Search their online catalog or plan a visit in person.
