We will welcome Doris Kearns Goodwin to the Ford Center stage at 7:30pm, when she will address the SMBHC student body. All honors students are expected to attend. World-renowned presidential historian, public speaker and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Goodwin received critical acclaim for her seventh book, Leadership in Turbulent Times, published last year. The New York Times bestseller is a culmination of Goodwin’s five-decade career of studying the American presidents. Additionally, she has played herself as a teacher on The Simpsons and a historian on American Horror Story.
