Description

In honor of LGBTQ+ History Month, the Center for Inclusion & Cross Cultural Engagement will host a Keynote Address & Reception on Tuesday, October 1, 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM, in the Bryant Hall Gallery. Jensen Luke Matar is the Coordinator of TEAP, the Transgender Education and Advocacy Program with the ACLU of Mississippi. Through community building, leadership development, education and direct advocacy, Jensen has been able to lead a shift in culture around trans narratives and is a vital contributor in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights in Mississippi. This event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the keynote.
