For this event, Navajo/Hopi film maker, Angelo Baca, will present his award-winning film Shash Jaa’: Bears Ears, which documents Native American efforts to preserve and conserve a sacred wilderness area in Utah. After viewing the film, Mr. Baca will answer questions from the audience about the making of the film and his work on environmental issues, tribal sovereignty issues, and other contemporary American Indian concerns.
