Abstract

The legendary story about what a great sense of humor the great late Freddie King had when he came into the “I Spy Lounge” on the South Side of Chicago. That unforgettable night Freddie played many of his already hit records recorded before 1967 and improvised some new ones that haven’t yet been recorded. Billy was new to the blues and was star struck standing in Freddie’s shadow towering at 6 feet 5 inches tall when Freddie mentored Billy with a valuable lesson not only about the blues, but about life that Billy will never forget.
