Description
The documentary film “Black Power at Ole Miss" tells the stories of the nearly 90 African-American students who were arrested on February 25, 1970 following a peaceful protest outside Fulton Chapel. The screening of the film at the event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the arrest was followed by a staged reading of the hearings of the eight students who were expelled and a panel discussion moderated by Ralph Eubanks, visiting professor of Southern Studies, English and Honors.
