Description
Smith writes from Florence, Italy, to Creekmore in Jackson, Mississippi. She thanks Creekmore for his translation of "No Harm to Lovers" and asks if he has read Maurice Collis's translation of a seventeenth-century Burmese love poem that appears in an issue of Chimera. She states that her husband, William Jay Smith, will be publishing a book of poetry with Farrar, Straus, and Giroux. Smith states that she recently saw Eudora Welty. Includes envelope.
