Description

Ilse and Kit Barker write from Lodsworth, Petworth, Sussex, regarding Creekmore's trip to New Orleans, Louisiana. They discuss their life in Lodsworth, their visits to London, and news about friends: Howard Griffin's life on East 52nd Street, Robert Evett's recent visit, Polly's poem in Botteghe Oscure, Carson McCullers's poetry, and Eudora Welty's Delta Wedding. Ilse is doing work for G. P. Putnam's Sons in London. They thank Creekmore for a copy of "A Little Treasury of World Poetry."
