Description
Lind is a professor in the Department of Latin and Greek at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He writes on department letterhead to Creekmore in Jackson, Mississippi. He tells of his time in New Haven, Connecticut, where he saw Thomas G. Bergin of the Italian Department. Bergin is interested in seeing Creekmore's translations of Provencal poetry and possibly publishing it with Yale University Press under Norman V. Donaldson. Lind will be spending a year in Rome, Italy, on a Fulbright Grant. Includes envelope.
