Description
Hubert writes from the South Pacific to his parents in Jackson, Mississippi, regarding his experiences in World War II. He states that he has not received James Joyce's Stephen Hero from New Directions Publishing Corporation. He mentions that James Laughlin has a hard time finding paper to print books. He responds to an article in the Chicago Tribune that discusses Creekmore's writing. He mentions that Lucy wrote an article calling Creekmore the editor of Gismo, and he states that he sent a second issue to Charlotte Capers at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Includes envelope.
