Description
Hubert writes from New Orleans to his mother in Jackson, Mississippi, regarding personal and professional matters. Hubert's royalty check from John Schaffner came in the mail and has already been deposited. John's wife, Perdita, is getting a free cruise and is also going to Englandfor the corination. Hubert might stay with John when he is in New York this summer to talk about the anthology with Ted Purdy. Hubert also discusses dust jacket proofs. Eudora Welty were in town this weekend and they got to hear Dixieland Jazz and Lizzie Miles. Envelope included.
