Abstract

Thomas Wolfe wrote that you can't go home again, but perhaps it is possible to return to a college campus after a few years away. New University of Mississippi faculty members Andrew Donnelly and Ryan Parsons aren't returning home, per se, but they are back in a familiar place. They both studied or researched at the university. Donnelly joins UM as a visiting assistant professor in English and Southern Studies, and Ryan Parsons begins as an assistant professor of sociology and Southern Studies.
