Abstract

The Oxford Conference for the Book will not take place on April 1-3, 2020 due to concerns about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). The conference is the longest-running event produced by the University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Southern Culture. "We are disappointed that we had to cancel the conference, but the health and safety of our panelists and attendees is our top priority," said Jimmy Thomas, conference director.
