Abstract

There will be a special free screening of "The Rough South of Larry Brown," including a discussion with director Gary Hawkins, photographer Tom Rankin, and blues curator Greg Johnson at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 12. The program will include rarely seen photos and clips not in the original film. Sponsored by the Center for the Study of Southern Culture and the University of Mississippi J.D. Williams Archives and Special Collections, the event is free and open to the public at Proud Larry's, 211 S. Lamar Blvd., on the Oxford Square.
