Additionally, the documentary connects his story to broader themes of migration, identity, and adaptability.
Peter Muvunyi is from Kigali, Rwanda, in East Africa. His journey as a Documentary Filmmaker has been a profound exploration of narratives and human experiences. Working with diverse groups such as genocide survivors, marginalized communities, and medically fragile individuals to amplify their stories, Peter hopes to use his skills to tell stories that resonate and inspire people, raise awareness, and influence positive change and policy in his community through storytelling.
