ELEVATE

ELEVATE is a free one-week summer exploration program for rising seniors attending Historically-Black Colleges and Universities. Housing, Meals, Excursions and Recreation are included.

Workshops and Seminars will address a variety of topics, including:

• Purpose and value of graduate education
• Application process, admission, matriculation
• Costs and sources of financial support
• Challenges, obstacles and stigmas
• Undergraduate vs. graduate education
• Degrees and specializations

ELEVATE will focus on graduate degrees available at the University of Mississippi in these fields:

• Athletic Training
• Chemistry
• History
• Journalism and Integrated Marketing Communications
• Modern Languages (French, German, Spanish)
• Pharmaceutical Sciences (exclusive of the PharmD)
• Psychology
