Fall Convocation

At the annual Fall Convocation, incoming First-Year students are officially welcomed to the University, and challenged to uphold the University Creed, which expresses the values and beliefs of the community. They also receive a limited-edition commemorative coin as part of the ceremony. Since 2011, the author of the Common Reading Experience selection for the academic year speaks to the assembly.
