Abstract
Interim Chancellor Larry Sparks and Provost Noel Wilkin officially welcome the new freshman class and other first-year students to the University of Mississippi as part of the Fall Semester's official Welcome Week. Matthew Desmond, author of Evicted, selected for UM's Common Reading Experience for 2019, was the event's featured speaker.
