    Description

    The oral histories in this collection document a sampling of musicians from in and just outside the Oxford, Mississippi area. The musicians represent a sampling of the large number of performers and musical styles from this area. The interviewers and sound engineers were students participating in the Library of Congress and American Music Archive sponsored Field School for Cultural Documentation which occurred during the 2007-2010 May intersessions at the University of Mississippi.
