    This collection is of material relates to the life and times of Jack Raymond Reed, Sr. of Tupelo, Mississippi. It contains documents pertinent to his and his family’s lives. It covers major aspects of Reed’s life including, but not limited to, his community and church work, his efforts to obtain better quality education for Mississippians, and his role in politics of the state, with particular focus on his run for governor in 1987.
