    Description

    King and Anderson Plantation was a 17,000-acre plantation near Clarksdale, Miss. It was founded circa 1830-1840, and continued to operate well into the 20th century. The collection contains seventeen ledgers detailing operating expenses of the King and Anderson Plantation, and one ledger detailing operations of the Yazoo Delta Mortgage Company.
