Description
Lilly Slaughter (lslaught@go.olemiss.edu) is an MFA candidate in Documentary Expression in the Center for the Study of Southern Culture. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Lilly Slaughter received a master’s degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi in 2022. Their work focuses on the intersection between foodways and migration, stemming from her work on an organic farm outside of Louisville. Lilly’s film will focus on the relationships formed between coworkers in the United States and Mexico.
