Description
Marcos Mendoza (mendoza@olemiss.edu) is an Associate Professor of Anthropology and core faculty member in the Environmental Studies program. His scholarship focuses on global capitalism, environmentalism, the production of space, risk ecologies, law and crime, empire and resistance. He is the author of The Patagonian Sublime: The Green Economy and Post-Neoliberal Politics (2018) and is currently writing a book tentatively entitled The Partisan Liberation Struggle: Self-Defense, Justice, and Insecurity in Mexico.
