Abstract
This thesis seeks to prove that China’s Shanghai Stock Exchange responds to relevant policy changes, and, as a result, the new 2020 Foreign Investment Law will result in market growth. This is done by establishing a historical precedent, analyzing the significant changes brought about by the new law, and finally using three economic models to provide a mathematical basis.
