Topics dicussed include: the federal highway system; transportation needs and problems that are unique to Mississippi; rural transportation needs versus urban transportation needs; federal funding for Mississippi highways; need to revise the allocation formula used to distribute funds to the states from the Highway Trust Fund; and need for bridges in Mississippi.
