One-Student Classroom
For her project with the STAMPS Impact Prize award, Gwendolyn Pfrenger installed an exhibit on one side of The Creation Room, a former bedroom in the home of M. B. Mayfield, now the M. B. Mayfield House Museum, in Ecru, MS.
The "One-Student Classroom" exhibit is a mock-up closet meant to represent the space in which Mayfield might have worked during his time as a janitor in the Department of Art at the University of Mississippi.

Pfrenger graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College at the University of Mississippi in 2025 with a B.A. in Art History and minors in English and Museum Studies.
