Description
Miles' description: It started friendly enough with a handshake between Lt. Gov. Johnson and Chief U. S. Marshall James McShane. The next year the J. P. Coleman campaign used this picture in an ad saying, "Tell the whole truth, Paul." Another photo which I made that had Lt. Gov. Johnson holding his clenched fist to his coat lapel was "borrowed" by the highway patrol and was turned graphically into the ad, 'Stand tall with Paul.'; Corresponding Negative, folder 8.
