2022 Mississippi Education Law Conference
June 8th, 2022: Education Law 101 Day
The Education Law 101 Day will provide those new to legal issues in higher education with an in-depth review of critical legal and policy issues arising in schools and colleges. There will be one track for P-12 leaders in education and another for practitioners in postsecondary education. The information covered is ideal for those new to dealing with legal issues in education and for those who would like a refresher on nuts and bolts law and policy issues commonly encountered in educational settings.
June 9th, 2022: Plenary, Breakout Sessions
Options are available for individuals to register for one day or both days of the conference.

The honorary Co-Chair for this year's conference is Mary Ann Connell, a legal trailblazer who during more than 40 years of practice has served educational institutions with distinction, including as the attorney for the University of Mississippi and board attorney for the Oxford School District.
Organizers for the conference are the University of Mississippi School of Law, University of Mississippi Division of Outreach and Continuing Education, the Higher Education Law, Policy, and Practice (HELPP) Collaborative of the University of Mississippi Department of Higher Education, and the North Mississippi Education Consortium.
Credits:
- 1 OSL Credit available for Entry Level School Administrators (must attend both days)
- 10 SEMI Credits available for School Administrators (5 SEMI Credits for one day attendance)
- 1.3 CEU Credits avalable for Teachers (.6 CEU Credits for one day attendance)
- CLE Credit available for attorneys
