Abstract: A Multi-Level Model in Support of a Plan to Reduce Chronic Absence in Jackson Public Schools (JPS). UM's Center for Research Evaluation (CERE) is working in partnership with JPS, on a grant funded by the Kellogg Foundation, to explore various areas identified by the district as in need of improvement. This will include chronic absence rates, the effect of quality preK on kindergarten experience, and overall student outcomes.
