In this session, Dr. Philip Snyder will showcase an exciting project that combines flutes and electronic sounds in a unique album, with a live excerpt of the work. Lauralei Palmer will discuss how books and stories inspire music, explaining the creative process of turning literary ideas into musical pieces. She will also perform a short excerpt from her Senior recital, entitled Dawnsinger, to illustrate The Stormlight Archive in a musical space. Plus, enjoy a live performance from the Shade of Blue Quartet, bringing music to life right before your eyes.
