Abstract

In advance of the 2019 Mississippi statewide elections, two of the top political reporters in the state provide early assessments of the various races in a program at the Overby Center for Southern Journalism and Politics at Ole Miss. Emily Wagster Pettus of the Associated Press, a respected veteran of the statehouse press corps in Jackson, and Adam Ganucheau, who is carving out a strong reputation for his political stories in Mississippi Today, are special guests for a discussion with the center’s chairman, Charles Overby, and Overby Fellow Curtis Wilkie.
