Abstract
A year after the U.S. Supreme Court pulled the teeth of the Voting Rights Act, a panel of civil rights experts and state Republican leaders discuss the impact of the decision. Panelists include: Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, former Jackson City Council president Leslie McLemore, former state GOP chairman Jim Herring and Ole Miss political science professor Marvin King. They discussed political fallout from the ruling and Mississippi's freshly implemented Voter ID law.
