The Office of the Provost oversees the entire academic enterprise of the University of Mississippi, including budgets, faculty matters, academic issues, policies, accreditation, interactions with our governing board as they relate to academic issues, planning and strategic issues, student services, research, and minority and diversity support programs.

Noel E. Wilkin was named Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs on September 22, 2017. He joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in September 1996, and is both a Professor of Pharmacy Administration, and a Research Professor in the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RIPS).
