Melissa Ginsburg, an Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Mississippi, reads her poem, "The Year of the Mockingbirds." Her most recent novel, The House Uptown (Macmillan), was published in 2021. Jason Hoeksema is a Professor of Biology at the University of Mississippi and president of Delta Wind Birds, "nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization dedicated to protecting and creating wetlands, fostering ecotourism, and raising awareness of migratory birds and their habitats."
