Abstract
JACKSON, MISS. -- Today, the Institutes of Higher Learning Board of Trustees approved new initiatives for teacher recruitment and teacher professional development and named Dr. Daniel W. Jones as the next Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs for The University of Mississippi Medical Center. In addition, Commissioner-elect of Higher Education, Dr. David Potter, announced that the institutions would not seek a tuition increase for Fall 2003.
