Abstract
The third victim of a Friday morning fire at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house at the University of Mississippi has been identified as Howard Hillhouse Stone, 19, of Martinsville, Va., a sophomore majoring in political science. The identity was confirmed by the state medical examiner, said Jeffrey Alford, vice chancellor for University Relations. Preliminary autopsy reports indicate that all three victims died of smoke inhalation. The fire broke out at approximately 4:30 a.m. Twenty-two students and a house mother were in the house when the fire started. Further details will be released as they become available.
