Abstract
OXFORD, Miss. - Many people might imagine the search for new cancer drugs goes on in sterile laboratories, where scientists wearing white coats use shiny equipment to synthesize medicines for zapping tumors. But University of Mississippi researchers - wearing hip waders to search through wetlands in rural Benton and Desoto counties - may have discovered in the marshes a powerful new weapon for fighting breast cancer.
