Abstract

OXFORD, Miss. - Dallas resident Nancy Ashley says she owes much to the Oxford Conference for the Book. She credits the event - put on annually since 1993 by the University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Southern Culture and Oxford's Square Books - with sparking her four-year career delivering presentations on Mississippi writers to Dallas-Fort Worth book clubs.
