Abstract
As jury selection gets under way in the murder trial of Edgar Ray Killen, the state of Mississippi is taking steps to heal old wounds, said University of Mississippi law professor Michael Waterstone. Waterstone, who teaches and researches civil rights law with special emphasis on the reopening of civil rights murder cases, is available to discuss the trial.
