Abstract

Larry Cox, associate professor and Robertson Chair of Insurance in the University of Mississippi School of Business Administration, is available to comment on the first Katrina insurance trial, which is in the hands of U.S. District Judge L.T. Senter Jr. The potentially precedent-setting case, filed by Paul and Julie Leonard against Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., is the first of an expected hundreds of similar law suits. Senter's decision could come at any time.
