Abstract

University of Mississippi students travel to the Gulf Coast and New Orleans this weekend (March 10-11) to work on areas damaged by Hurricane Katrina. One group will go to the Gulf Coast to work on Habitat for Humanity homes and the other group will go to New Orleans to work on a restaurant destroyed by the storm. The work is to take place Saturday. The groups together will visit the Ninth Ward in New Orleans mid-morning on Sunday to view the aftermath and recovery from Hurricane Katrina.
