Abstract

OXFORD, Miss. - Nearly two-and-a-half years since his death, Mississippi native Larry Brown is still being praised as one of the most compelling writers in contemporary Southern literature. To provide insight into Brown's work, Jay Watson has revisited interviews with Brown and compiled a collection of them into the book "Conversations with Larry Brown" (University Press of Mississippi, 2007).
