Abstract

OXFORD, Miss. - Carlton Turner, former director of the White House Drug Abuse Policy Office, discusses "From the Marijuana Field of Ole Miss to the White House, and All Points in Between" Thursday (Oct. 25) at the University of Mississippi. The free, public event at 11 a.m. in the Ford Center for Performing Arts is part of the Coy W. Waller Distinguished Lecture series in the School of Pharmacy. Turner, president and CEO of Carrington Laboratories, served as director of the UM Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1980-84.
