Abstract
OXFORD, Miss. - Chancellor Robert C. Khayat has proclaimed the final Thursday of classes of each academic year as University of Mississippi Memorial Day, which will honor students, faculty, staff and faculty/staff emeriti who died during the preceding year. The Office of the Dean of Students and the University Memorial Ceremony Committee is holding the first UM Memorial Day at 5:30 p.m. Thursday (May 1) on the lawn of Paris-Yates Chapel.
