Abstract

UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- Whether the South was becoming Americanized was an issue that concerned novelist William Faulkner and a topic that will be explored by Dr. Charles Reagan Wilson, new director of The University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Southern Culture, when he addresses the 25th annual Faulkner and Yoknapatawpha Conference July 26-31.
