Abstract
UNIVERSITY, Miss. -- The national figures are frightening: One in every four women will experience a sexual assault or an attempted assault during her lifetime, says Jennifer McIntosh, assistant director of health and wellness programs at The University of Mississippi. Men also can be rape victims. In addition, recent statistics show an increase in the number of sexual assaults in which drugs have been slipped into victims' beverages.
